Bharat Electronics (BEL), Metamind, & Persistent Systems Sign MoU to Collaborate on AI, Cybersecurity & Data Solutions Across Global Markets

Bengaluru: In a strategic move set to bolster India’s position in cutting-edge technology sectors, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Metamind Systems Pvt Ltd, and Persistent Systems Ltd have signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and deliver advanced software solutions in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cyber Security.

Strategic Collaboration Across Critical Sectors
The alliance between the three companies is designed to create innovative software products and services across key sectors such as Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Energy, and Smart Cities. By pooling their expertise and capabilities, the partners aim to accelerate the development of critical technologies that will drive digital transformation in both the public and private sectors.

Focus on Global and Domestic Markets
The collaboration will not only cater to the Indian market but will also explore business opportunities in strategic international regions, including the United States and Latin America (LATAM). This international thrust reflects the growing global demand for AI-driven and cyber-secure solutions, especially in sensitive and high-impact domains.

Signing Ceremony and Key Leadership Presence
The MoU was formally signed by Smt Durga G K, Executive Director (Software), BEL; Sri Hrishikesh Kinikar, Director, Metamind Systems Pvt Ltd; and Sri Rajesh Gharpure, Chief Delivery Officer, Persistent Systems Ltd. The event was held in the presence of key leadership from BEL, including Sri Manoj Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, and Sri Rajnish Sharma, Director (Bengaluru Complex).

It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for ground and aerospace applications. BEL is one of sixteen PSUs under the administration of Ministry of Defence of India.
