Bihar: 68th BPSC Results Out, Six Out Of 10 Toppers Are Girls

The Bihar Public Service Commission has released the final result of the 68th Combined Examination 15th January. A total of 322 candidates have been declared successful in this examination and Priyangi Mehta from Patna has emerged as the topper. She cleared the examination in her first attempt. Ms. Mehta, who completed her graduation from BHU, is also appearing in the UPSC CSE interview this year. Her father runs a electronic repair shop and her mother is a homemaker.

Besides her, six women candidates are included in the top 10. The second topper is Anubhav, third topper is Prerna Singh, fourth is Anjali Joshi, and fifth is Saurabh Ranjan. Asim Khan, Anjali Prabha, Anukriti Mishra, Akash Kumar and Mimansha are at sixth, seventh, eight, ninth and tenth positions respectively.

Ms. Priyangi Mehta has been selected as Revenue Officer, Anubhav has been selected as Joint Sub Registrar and Ms. Prerna Singh has been selected as Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Let it be noted that there were 324 vacancies. A total of 767 candidates appeared for the interview and 322 candidates have finally passed. According to BPSC, among the successful candidates, 400 were under unreserved category, 78 under economically weaker section, 120 from scheduled caste, 13 from scheduled tribe, 122 from very backward category, 120 from backward class and 16 from backward class women category.
