In an administrative reshuffle, nine officers of the Indian Administrative Service have been assigned new responsibilities in Bihar. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on Thursday, 21 September.
Bhagalpur Divisional Commissioner Dayanidhan Pandey has been made Director of Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
At the same time, Munger Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Singh has been given the additional charge of Bhagalpur Divisional Commissioner.
Deepak Anand, Additional Secretary, Department of Art, Culture and Youth, has been made Director, Consumer Protection.
Anil Kumar Jha, who is posted as Joint Secretary in Agriculture Department, has now been given the responsibility of Secretary to Board of Revenue,
Joint Secretary of Cooperatives Department Mr. Sanjay Kumar has been posted as Commissioner of MNREGA. Whereas, IAS officer Ruby has been made director of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs of the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth. She will also hold the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Arts, Culture and Youth. Till now, she was holding the charge of Joint Secretary, Commercial Tax Department.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, who is Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, has now been made Joint Secretary, Construction Department.
Joint Secretary of Cooperative Department, Abhay Jha, has been posted as Administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Department.
Special Secretary of Minor Water Resources Department, Ashima Jain, will now be Administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation.
