The General Administration Department of the Bihar government has issued a notification announcing pay scale promotions for several officers of the Bihar Administrative Service, marking a significant step in career progression and administrative strengthening.
According to the notification, Mr. Arvind Kumar and Mr. Satish Ranjan Sinha, who were serving at the Joint Secretary level, have been promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary.
In addition, Mr. Abdul Hamid and Mr. Mohd. Tariq, both serving at the Additional Collector level, have now been elevated to the Joint Secretary rank.
Furthermore, 17 officers currently holding the post of Deputy Secretary have been promoted to the Additional Collector level, while 17 Basic Category officers have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Secretary. The posts of all these officers have been officially upgraded as part of the promotion process.
These promotions are part of a routine administrative exercise aimed at recognising seniority, experience, and efficiency within the Bihar Administrative Service.
