Boost to Religious Tourism and Cultural Heritage
Once completed, Punauradham is expected to emerge as a key destination in the Ramayana Circuit, drawing national and international pilgrims and tourists. With enhanced amenities and an immersive cultural experience, the project is seen as a major step toward preserving the spiritual and historical legacy of Maa Janaki, while also driving economic development through tourism in the region.
This initiative further aligns with Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar’s vision of positioning Bihar as a centre of spiritual tourism and cultural pride.
