Bihar Cadre IAS Officer Yogendra Singh Appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister Giriraj Singh

Mr. Yogendra Singh, a 2013-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister Mr. Giriraj Singh. The General Administration Department has issued a formal notification regarding his central deputation.

Currently serving as Director of Secondary Education in Bihar’s Education Department, Mr. Singh will now be attached to the office of Mr. Giriraj Singh, who presently holds the portfolio of Union Minister for Textiles. His appointment to this key role marks a transition from state service to a significant position in the Union Government.
