The state government of Bihar has promoted eight IAS officer to the Joint Secretary level. The officer benefitted with the recent promotion include Sub divisional officers of Patna Sadar and Patna City.
According to the recent order, the officers promoted are :
Sub-Divisional Officer of Motihari Sadar Mr. Shrestha Anupam, Sub-Divisional Officer of Bihar Sharif of Nalanda District Mr. Abhishek Palasia, Sub-Divisional Officer of Western Champaran, (Bagha) Dr. Anupama Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer of Darbhanga Ms. Chandrima Attri.
Besides them Sub-Divisional Officer of Sonpur Mr. Kumar Nishant Vivek, Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna (Sadar) Mr. Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar and Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna City Ms. Gunjan Singh have also been promoted.
Previously, eight other IAS officer of 2015 batch was promoted to Junior Administrative Grade (Additional Secretary level). That included DC, Sitamarhi Mr. Manish Kumar Meena, DC, Sheikhpurar J. Priyadarshini and DC, Kishanganj Tushar Singla.
