Patna: Bihar’s initiative to establish the state as a leading industrial hub received an enthusiastic response on the second day of ‘Industry Dialogue’, a program spearheaded by Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit. On Thursday, 32 industry representatives met the Chief Secretary to express their interest in setting up businesses in the state. The meeting was held at the Directorate of Aircraft Organization, near Patna Airport, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The next session of the dialogue, originally scheduled for Thursday, will now take place on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Connecting Investors Directly with Government Leadership
The ‘Industry Dialogue’ initiative is designed to connect investors directly with senior government officials, enabling faster resolution of challenges and streamlining the investment process. The second day was particularly significant as a majority of participants were Bihari entrepreneurs aiming to contribute to their home state’s development, address migration issues, and facilitate a “return to Bihar” for skilled professionals.
Investors emphasized that Bihar has no shortage of talent, and increasing industrial activity will create wide-ranging employment opportunities for the youth.

The investors presented proposals across multiple sectors, including:
- Dairy production and related products
- Establishment of Bihar Film City
- Manufacturing units for electrical products
- Furniture, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities

Chief Secretary Assures Strong Government Support
Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit warmly welcomed the participants and assured them of full support from the state government. He emphasized that the dialogue allows the government to work closely with serious investors and provide all necessary assistance.
He further stated that the Bihar government is committed to implementing various developmental schemes and is ready to introduce new policies or amend existing ones to boost industrial investment.
Investors who required land or faced other challenges had their concerns addressed directly by the Chief Secretary, who instructed relevant departments to take immediate action. This approach establishes the ‘Industry Dialogue’ as a one-stop solution for investors seeking to set up or expand businesses in Bihar.
Bihar Government’s Industrial Vision
The ‘Industry Dialogue’ reflects Bihar’s investor-friendly industrial policy, emphasizing transparency, speed, and direct communication. Through this forward-looking initiative, the state government aims to position Bihar as a prominent industrial destination in India, aligning with the Chief Minister’s vision of accelerated industrial growth.
