Patna: Bihar’s ambitious “Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana” is opening new horizons for the state’s young women, offering them the skills, exposure, and confidence to achieve their career aspirations. As part of this initiative, Urmi International Services Pvt. Ltd. (UISPL) has selected 86 talented girls from across Bihar for internships at Tata Electronics, one of India’s leading technology companies. This opportunity is poised to transform their professional journey while serving as an inspiration for countless young women across the state.

Empowering Women from Diverse Backgrounds

The selected candidates come from varied socio-economic backgrounds, including lower-middle-class households and families with limited resources. Despite these challenges, each girl shares a common determination to succeed. During their internship at Tata Electronics in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, the young women will receive hands-on training in mobile assembly, quality control, and advanced technological processes, equipping them with practical skills critical for modern industry roles.

The internship is facilitated under the Bihar Skill Development Mission in collaboration with UISPL, a leading HR and staffing service provider in the state. Beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana receive a stipend from the Bihar government, with students holding educational qualifications above 12th grade earning ₹11,000 per month and 12th-pass candidates receiving ₹9,000 per month. In addition, Tata Electronics provides a company stipend of ₹13,480 per month, along with a bonus of ₹1,000 for 100% attendance, and free travel, food, and accommodation throughout the internship period. This comprehensive support ensures that financial constraints do not hinder the dreams of these determined young women.

Growing Awareness and Future Opportunities

According to the company, awareness about the scheme is steadily increasing among the youth, leading to higher participation. In the near future, other major companies, including Flipkart, are expected to collaborate under the scheme, expanding career opportunities for Bihar’s youth.

Building Skills for Economic Independence

The Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana not only provides practical training but also fosters employment-oriented skills, enabling young women to become economically self-reliant. The success of these 86 young women underscores the transformative potential of proper guidance, training, and opportunities. It serves as a powerful message that, given the right resources, Bihar’s youth can compete and succeed on a global stage.
