Bihar’s eminent IAS officer, Mr. K K Pathak (1990-batch), finds himself transferred again from the post of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Bihar education department to the ACS of Revenue and Land Revenue Department, marking his second transfer in the same month!
Officer Pathak’s first transfer has been cancelled, and he has been made the Chairman of the revenue council with an additional charge as Director General of the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD). Officer Pathak (who has been on leave for almost one month) is yet to join his office, Mr. Deepak Kumar Singh (1992-batch IAS officer) will continue to hold additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department till his senior colleague resumes his service.
Senior IAS Pathak has been on leave from June 3rd to June 30th, but he extended it as a medical leave. While holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Officer Pathak made many stern yet crucial decisions, allegedly souring his relationship with his colleagues and subordinates.
