In a move to restructure the administration, the Bihar government has issued an order assigning additional charges to three senior IAS officers. According to the order, IAS officer Arvind Kumar Chaudhary will now take the charge of Principal Secretary (Planning & Development Department), Secretary (Bihar State Planning Board) and also Project Director, Bihar Aapda Punarwas Evan Punarnirman Society.
He is an IAS officer of 1995 batch and Bihar cadre, currently serving as Principal Secretary, Finance Department with additional charge of the posts of Principal Secretary, Vigilance, Examination Controller, Bihar State Joint Entrance Examination Board, and Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.
2004 batch IAS officre Abhay Kumar Singh has been given the additional charges of Secretary, Information & Technology and MD, BELTRON. He is currently serving as Secretary Tourism with additional charge of MS, COMFED and Chairman, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited.
On the other hand, IAS officer Santosh Kumar Mall of 1997 batch has been posted as Principal Secretary Urban Development & Housing department with additional charge of MD, Patna Metro Rail Corp. Ltd. He is currently serving as PS Information Technology Department with Additional Charge MD, Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (BELTRON); Enquiry Commissioner GAD; and OSD in the Office of Resident Commissioner, New Delhi. He will continue on the later two posts .
