New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has achieved a significant milestone with its Bina Refinery securing three prestigious accolades at the National Power & Energy Awards (NPEA) 2025. Green Hydrogen Project Earns Top Honours

The Refinery Integrated 2.15 TPD / 5 MW Green Hydrogen Plant at Bina Refinery was honoured under the ‘Exemplary Project Awards’ as well as the ‘One of its Kind’ category. The recognition highlights BPCL’s pioneering efforts in adopting green hydrogen technology, a key pillar in reducing carbon emissions and promoting cleaner fuel alternatives in the refining sector.

This integrated green hydrogen project marks an important step in BPCL’s journey towards decarbonisation and supports India’s broader ambition of becoming a global hub for green hydrogen.
