CCS Rules Book 2021 Releases on Good Governance Day

The Government decided to rationalise these rules and to bring out a revised and updated version of the rules

CCS (pension) Rules book 2021 released on the occasion of Good Governance Day by Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Personnel, PG and Pensions, and Sanjay Singh, Secretary, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare.

The Government decided to rationalise these rules and to bring out a revised and updated version of the rules.

Rules of revised CCS 2021 rule book are applicable on Central Civil government servants who were appointed before January 1, 2004. There are certain provisions for regulating pension and retirement gratuity on retirement of a government servant and family pension and death gratuity on death of a government servant or pensioner.

The rule book is an updated version of Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules 1972. For detailed information one may visit to DoPPW website.
