2011 batch Indian Economic Service (IES) Officer, Mr. Syed Zubair Husain Noqvi, has been made Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs.
He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mr. Noqvi has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
“He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Economic Affairs,” the order further read.
