IRS Upamanyu Basu Repatriated to Parent Cadre

IRS-IT officer Upamanyu Basu, Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the competent authority has approved the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy’s proposal to repatriate Mr. Basu to his parent cadre in order for him to reap the benefits of promotion in the cadre.
