The announcement marks a significant milestone for the newly inducted officers, who will now embark on their careers in law enforcement across the country.

- Ms. Eshani Anand, who secured AIR 79 and emerged as the topper among IPS candidates, has been allotted the Maharashtra cadre, despite her home state being Haryana.
- Merugu Kaushik, with AIR 82, also received Maharashtra cadre, though he hails from Telangana.
- Deepesh Singh Kaira (AIR 86) has been allotted his home cadre of Uttarakhand, a rare and welcome outcome.
- Srishti Mishra and Muskan Srivastava, another top rankers in IPS and both from Uttar Pradesh, have also been granted their home cadre, a development met with joy and celebration among their families and supporters.
