New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has appointed two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to important roles in the agency. Raman Kumar Meena, an IPS officer of the 2011 batch from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in CBI for a period of five years.
Meanwhile, Ms. P Renukadevi, an IPS officer from the 2008 batch of the Uttarakhand cadre, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in the CBI, also for an initial tenure of five years.
Meena, with his extensive experience in law enforcement, will bring his expertise to strengthen the investigative capabilities of the CBI. Similarly, Ms. P Renukadevi’s appointment as DIG marks a significant step in her distinguished career.
Both appointments come as part of the CBI’s efforts to enhance its operational efficiency and leadership, ensuring that the agency remains at the forefront of addressing national security concerns and maintaining law and order.
