The central deputation tenure of Satyendra Kumar, an IPS officer from the 2007 batch of the Rajasthan cadre, has been extended for an additional three months as Director in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
An official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) confirmed that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension. Mr. Kumar’s new tenure will now last until December 24, 2024, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes first.
