Twelve IAS officers have been allocated to West Bengal. The department of personnel and training (DoPT) has informed the state govt on Wednesday.
The officers are from the 2020-batch and three of them are from Bengal.
The new allocation of IAS officers comes after the chief minister had claimed that the state has a dearth of officers and sought an increased quota.
