New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued fresh orders appointing two senior IAS officers to key central government positions under the Central Staffing Scheme.
V Jaya Chandra Bhanu Reddy (IAS:2011:TN)
Mr. Reddy has been appointed as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
He will serve in the post for a period of five years from the date of taking charge, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
This posting is part of the routine rotation of officers to strengthen various departments at the Centre with experienced administrative leadership.
Saurabh Kumar (IAS:2009:CG)
Mr. Kumar has been appointed as Director in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, under the same central staffing scheme.
His tenure will also extend for five years from the date he assumes office, or until further orders.
Saurabh Kumar, a seasoned officer from the Chhattisgarh cadre, brings over a decade of administrative experience to his new role in the key revenue department.
These appointments underline the Centre’s ongoing effort to mobilize mid-level bureaucratic talent into important roles across ministries to improve governance and administrative delivery.
