New Delhi: The central government has approved the extension of the deputation tenure of Ch Hari Krishna Reddy (IRS-C&IT: 2013), currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Central Water Commission (CWC), for an additional two years. The extension, effective from October 12, 2025, will continue until October 12, 2027, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier.
The decision was formalized through an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, following approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). The move comes on the recommendation of the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, reflecting the government’s confidence in Reddy’s expertise and contributions to the CWC.
