Shortly after relieving Mr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade (2002-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer) from the charge of Finance Secretary, the Chandigarh (UT) Administration issued fresh orders assigning several IAS officers with additional charges along with their incumbent duties.
- Ms. Anindita Mitra (2007-batch Punjab cadre officer) was appointed Secretary in the Department of Water Resources, Estate/Housing and Urban Planning.
- Mr. Rajeev Verma (1992-batch AGMUT cadre officer) was given charge of Home and Police/Prisons.
- Mr. Ajay Chagti (2010-batch AGMUT cadre officer) was appointed Secretary in the Department of Local Government and Urban Development, and Chairperson of Chandigarh Industrial & Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.
- Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh (2011-batch Haryana cadre officer) was made Secretary in the Departmnet of Transport, Labour & Empowerment.
- Mr. Abhijit Vijay Chaudhary (2012-batch AGMUT cadre officer) was appointed Secretary in the Department of Law & Justice, Environment & Forest, and Special Secretary of Home and Police/Prisons.
- Ms. Hargunjit Kaur (2013-batch Punjab cadre officer) was appointed Secretary in the Department of Finance, Treasury & Forest, Planning, Statistics and Engineering.
- Mr. Hari Kallikkat (2018-batch AGMUT cadre officer) was given charge of IT, Coordination & Protocol.
