Raipur: In accordance with central government directives on asset transparency, several 2007-batch IAS officers from the Chhattisgarh cadre have submitted comprehensive declarations of their personal and family properties.
The disclosures include both inherited and self-purchased assets such as residential plots, agricultural land, and flats across different states. Many officers also reported additional income through rentals and agricultural activity, reflecting a diverse portfolio of holdings beyond their government service.

Mr Basavaraju , Secretary, owns a 3,600 sq ft residential plot in Serikhedi, Raipur, which he bought from the Housing Board. Its current estimated value is ₹17 lakh. He also owns a 1,655.57 sq ft flat in Karnataka, purchased for ₹1.62 crore. The flat is currently valued at ₹1.627 crore. Total Value: ₹1.797 crore
Shammi Abidi
Mr Abidi, Secretary, disclosed multiple properties jointly held with her husband. These include a 3,038.75 sq ft house in Nava Raipur with a 1,700 sq ft built-up area, purchased in 2015 for ₹35 lakh and now valued at ₹85 lakh. This property earns an annual rental income of ₹2.4 lakh. She also owns 0.0800 hectares of land in Arang, Raipur, bought in 2022 for ₹24.5 lakh, with a current value of ₹30 lakh. Additionally, she holds 2.64 hectares of land in the same region, purchased for ₹49 lakh and now worth ₹60 lakh. This agricultural property generates an annual income of ₹1.5 lakh. Himshikhar Gupta

His wife owns 347 sq m of inherited land in Saharanpur, valued at ₹8 lakh, and 1.211 hectares in Shankarpur village, Lucknow, valued at ₹15.5 lakh, with a yearly income of ₹1.5 lakh. Gupta also owns two residential plots in Raipur—one of 3,600 sq ft in Serikhedi (₹17 lakh) and another of 3,939 sq ft in Sankari, which he purchased for ₹42.65 lakh using a bank loan. Mr Devasenapathi reported a significant portfolio of ancestral properties in Tamil Nadu. He also holds 3,333 sq ft of residential land bought in 1996 in his mother’s name (₹25 lakh) and a house in Tamil Nadu under her name, which yields ₹1 lakh annually. Furthermore, he jointly owns a 1,759 sq ft house in Chennai valued at ₹48 lakh and has a 3,600 sq ft plot in Serikhedi, Raipur, purchased for ₹15.3 lakh.
