Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai reaffirmed his government’s commitment to inclusive development, stating that every corner of the state will be brought into the mainstream through robust infrastructure and public welfare initiatives. Addressing the Mahtari Alankaran Samman Samaroh of the Pandaria Assembly constituency virtually, he said the government is working with full dedication to implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and policies, while shutting all avenues of corruption to ensure good governance.
Mr. Sai announced several key development initiatives for the region, including the establishment of a new sub-tehsil in Ranveerpur, the commencement of a college in Birendra Nagar from the upcoming academic session, and a new 250-seater Nalanda campus in Pandaria. He also announced a new building for the college in Kunda and a Nagar Palika office in Pandaria. Additionally, 2.1 km of National Highway-130A will be widened and upgraded to four lanes.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan of various infrastructure projects worth Rs. 72 crore. He noted that to strengthen rural banking access, Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras have already been established in 1,460 gram panchayats, and this service will be extended to all panchayats within a year. He also emphasized that the registry process has been made simpler and more transparent for citizens.
Lauding the efforts of local MLA Ms. Bhavna Bohra, Mr. Sai praised the launch of five free buses for girl students, calling it a historic step toward their empowerment. “This facility will ensure that girls can safely and conveniently attend colleges across the region,” he said.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, who also addressed the gathering virtually, called the day historic for Pandaria, as Rs. 72 crore worth of projects were launched and five buses dedicated to girls were flagged off. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma said that development is now reaching every village and not confined to urban centers. MP Mr. Santosh Pandey described the initiative as a significant move toward women’s education and empowerment.
Regional MLA Ms. Bhavna Bohra stated that the free bus service, which initially had three vehicles, has now been expanded to eight, covering colleges in Pandaria, Pandatarai, Pipariya, Sahaspur Lohara, and Kawardha. She added that development projects worth over Rs. 600 crore have been sanctioned for the Pandaria constituency in the last 18 months, including the long-awaited Harinala bridge and bypass road.
The event, held at PM Shri Swami Atmanand Government School Campus, was attended by several public representatives, officials, and local residents.
