Raipur: The Vishnu Deo Sai-led Chhattisgarh government has issued a significant reshuffle involving 10 IAS officers across key departments. The transfers include prominent officers who have been assigned additional important responsibilities to streamline administration and improve governance.
Ravi Mittal Takes Charge as Public Relations Commissioner
2016 batch IAS officer Ravi Mittal, who currently serves as Commissioner, Public Relations, and holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Samvad, is temporarily posted as Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, until further orders.
He will continue to hold the additional charge of Commissioner, Public Relations and Chief Executive Officer, Samvad.
Reena Babasaheb Kangale Assigned Multiple Key Departments
2003 batch IAS officer Kangale, currently serving as Secretary of the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, has been given additional responsibilities. She will now oversee the Revenue and Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department.
Furthermore, Ms Kangale will take charge as ex-officio Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Records, reflecting the government’s confidence in her capabilities to handle multifaceted duties related to revenue, disaster management, and rehabilitation.
Avinash Champawat Entrusted with General Administration and Public Grievance Redressal
2003 batch IAS officer Champawat, who was Secretary in the Revenue Department, has been temporarily posted as Secretary of the General Administration Department until further orders. Alongside this, he will also handle the additional charge of the Public Grievance Redressal Department, tasked with addressing citizen concerns and improving government responsiveness.
