The government of Chhattisgarh has recently issued transfer orders for senior IPS officer Himanshu Gupta, making him the Director General of the Jail and Reforms Services. Mr. Gupta, who is a 1994-batch IPS officer, will relieve retired IPS Rajesh Kumar Mishra. Officer Himanshu Gupta had earlier served as the Special DG at the Police Head Quarters in Raipur.
