Raipur/Seoul: On the second leg of his official visit to South Korea, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held strategic talks with Mr. Lee Jae Jeng, Chairman of the Advanced Technology Centre Association (ATCA), in Seoul. The discussions focused on exploring investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh and boosting industrial cooperation between the state and South Korean businesses.
ATCA, a powerful consortium of over 60 South Korean companies across sectors such as IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharma, and textiles, expressed keen interest in forging B2B partnerships with firms in Chhattisgarh.
CM Sai Invites South Korean Delegation to Explore Chhattisgarh
Welcoming the ATCA leadership, CM Sai invited the delegation to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming India tour. “Chhattisgarh offers an investor-friendly environment with plug-and-play infrastructure, world-class institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, and a strong logistics network,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that the state’s Industrial Policy 2024–30 focuses on high-tech investments, EVs, semiconductors, and green energy, making it a prime destination for innovation-led development.

Chhattisgarh Investor Connect Programme Held in Seoul
During his visit, CM Sai also addressed the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect programme in Seoul, organised with the support of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). Highlighting India–South Korea trade ties, CM Sai noted that South Korea is one of India’s top three steel export destinations, and as a major steel producer, Chhattisgarh is ready to expand this cooperation.
Mineral Wealth and EV Potential: A Key Attraction
Speaking at the event, CM Sai emphasized Chhattisgarh’s vast mineral resources, including lithium, a crucial element for EV batteries and electronics. “With abundant lithium reserves, Chhattisgarh can become a natural hub for electric vehicle manufacturing and play a pivotal role in the global energy transition,” he said.
ICCK Onboarded as Knowledge Partner
In a significant development, CM Vishnu Deo Sai announced the onboarding of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) as a Knowledge Partner for the Chhattisgarh government. Under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024–30, this partnership will focus on:
- Technology collaboration
- Skilling and capacity building
- Global industrial linkages
“With Korea’s innovation and Chhattisgarh’s natural resources, we will script a new era of growth and development,” CM Sai declared.

Chhattisgarh Assures Support for Global Investors
CM Sai assured investors of full government support through single-window clearance, land allocation, and regulatory facilitation. “We are committed to handholding investors across all levels to create a seamless and rewarding investment experience in Chhattisgarh,” he stated.
He expressed confidence that Korean investment and innovation will help transform Chhattisgarh’s industrial ecosystem and elevate India–South Korea economic relations to new heights.
