Empowering Tribal Communities with Basic Facilities
Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that providing tribal families with basic amenities under this campaign must remain the government’s top priority. Covering 28 districts, 128 development blocks, and 6,650 tribal-dominated villages, the campaign will bring key schemes related to housing, roads, healthcare, education, and employment directly to the grassroots.
Over 1.33 lakh cadres, including NGOs, youth, panchayat representatives, volunteers, and philanthropic organizations, will be mobilized at the village level. These cadres will be responsible for ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes and active participation in local development planning.
Phased Training and “Aadi Seva Kendra” Establishment
The Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan will follow a phased approach, with training sessions at the state, district, block, and village levels. An “Aadi Seva Kendra” will be set up in each selected village, functioning as a one-stop service center for delivering government benefits and fostering public participation.
During the campaign, special programs such as Seva Parv and Aadi Karmayogi Seva Abhiyan will be organized through these centers. Local representatives and community leaders will play an active role in monitoring and supporting the activities.
Tribal Village Vision 2030 for Long-Term Development
The campaign also aligns with long-term developmental goals. The Tribal Development Department, along with the Scheduled Caste Development, Backward Classes, and Minority Development Departments, will collaborate with NGOs and local organizations to prepare a “Tribal Village Vision 2030.”
This vision document will act as a roadmap for sustainable development in tribal areas. Additionally, complaint redressal camps, awareness drives, and “Tribal Service Day” programs will be conducted to strengthen accountability and ensure inclusive governance.
Governance and Development at the Core
With the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, Chhattisgarh is reinforcing its commitment to inclusive growth, ensuring that tribal communities not only receive basic amenities but also become active stakeholders in their development journey. By combining government machinery with civil society participation, the state aims to create a robust model of good governance in tribal regions.
