Jaunpur Tops Uttar Pradesh in CM Yogi’s Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme, Achieves 100% Loan Distribution Target

Jaunpur: In a remarkable achievement, Jaunpur district has set a new benchmark by achieving 100% of its target under the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneurship Development Campaign, a flagship initiative of CM Yogi Adityanath aimed at promoting self-employment and economic self-reliance among the youth. This outstanding performance has placed Jaunpur at the top in Uttar Pradesh for the current financial year.

Youth Empowerment Through Self-Employment

The CM Yogi Adityanath-led initiative is designed to provide young individuals with the necessary financial support to start their own businesses, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and self-dependence. Across the state, over 2.5 lakh youth have applied for assistance under this program in the current financial year. The state government had set a target of distributing 1.5 lakh loans, out of which 71,918 loans have already been sanctioned, demonstrating the campaign’s growing popularity among young aspirants.

Jaunpur Exceeds Expectations

According to District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh, Jaunpur was assigned a target of providing loans to 2,250 youth. The district received 6,664 applications, out of which 2,256 loans were successfully disbursed, achieving 100.27% of the target. Dr. Singh highlighted that a special campaign was conducted in line with CM Yogi’s vision, connecting young entrepreneurs with banks to ensure timely loan distribution. District Manager Abhay Prakash Srivastava played a key role in facilitating this success.

Azamgarh and Ambedkarnagar Secure Second and Third Positions

Azamgarh district ranked second in the state, achieving 92.67% of its target. To ensure maximum participation, block-level workshops and counseling sessions were conducted to guide young applicants. Out of 5,748 applications received, 2,085 youth were sanctioned loans. Ambedkarnagar secured third place, with 1,485 loans distributed against a target of 1,900. Regular monthly meetings with banks were held in both districts to track progress and expedite loan disbursement.

Other Districts Show Strong Performance

Districts such as Kaushambi, Hardoi, Jhansi, Raebareli, and Bahraich also demonstrated commendable progress in the implementation of the scheme. Continuous monitoring and proactive engagement with banks ensured that loans reached the deserving youth efficiently, strengthening the campaign’s impact across the state.

CM Yogi’s Vision for a Self-Reliant Youth and Economic Growth

The Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneurship Development Campaign is a significant step toward realizing Uttar Pradesh’s vision of becoming a trillion-dollar economy. By empowering young entrepreneurs, the initiative not only fosters self-reliance but also contributes to job creation, economic development, and the overall financial strength of the state.
