Chhattisgarh: UPSC To Hold Meeting To Discuss The Promotion Of SPS To IPS

DS Maravi, Manoj Kumar Khilari, Ravi Kumar Kurre, CD Tandonm, SR Bhagat, JR Thakur, and Prafulla Thakur are among the SPS officials whose promotions are likely to be reviewed during the meeting.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called a meeting of the departmental promotion committee on June 1 to discuss the promotion of Chhattisgarh State Police Service (SPS) personnel to the Indian Police Service (IPS) Chhattisgarh cadre in the state select list 2020 and 2021.

The UPSC has written to the chief secretary and principal secretary (home) of Chhattisgarh about the meeting and has asked state government nominees/members of the selection committee to attend at 11.30 a.m. on June 1 at the UPSC headquarters in New Delhi.

DS Maravi, Manoj Kumar Khilari, Ravi Kumar Kurre, CD Tandonm, SR Bhagat, JR Thakur, and Prafulla Thakur are among the SPS officials whose promotions are likely to be reviewed during the meeting. In the Chhattisgarh choose list 2020, four positions are empty, while two positions are open in the Chhattisgarh select list 2021.
