He was addressing an educational programme for students, teachers, mentors and elders at MES Razeena Matriculation School, Kilpauk, Chennai. According to him, ambition is God’s own incentive to make purpose great and achievement greater. Reminding the students that education does not begin with the learning of the alphabet, he went on to quote the famous words of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru: ‘Education stands for humanism, for tolerance, for adventure of ideas – for search for truth.’ Dr Swamy also gave insights on managing academic pressure, building emotional resilience, strengthening values, and making responsible life choices – highlighting the shared role of family, educators, and society.
