Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai reiterated the state government’s commitment to public welfare and holistic development, stating that several historic decisions taken over the past 18 months aim to establish Chhattisgarh as a model state in the country. He was addressing a massive public gathering at the stadium complex of Nagar Panchayat Dadhi in Bemetara district.
Rs. 102 Crore Development Push for Bemetara
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 48 development projects worth Rs. 102 crore in Bemetara district. These included the inauguration of 22 projects worth Rs. 35.76 crore and bhoomi pujan for 26 projects worth Rs. 66.91 crore. As part of the announcements, Mr. Sai also declared a grant of Rs. 5 lakh for CC road construction in 20 gram panchayats.
The Chief Minister marked the occasion with a symbolic plantation drive, sending out an environmental message. He also visited a multi-departmental exhibition and distributed beneficiary-oriented materials under various welfare schemes.
Boost for Local Governance
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao, who was also present, announced Rs. 1.25 crore for the construction of a new office building for Dadhi Nagar Panchayat, calling it a major step in empowering local governance. He emphasized that all the state government’s schemes are centered around the village, poor, and farmers, and that improving their lives remains a top priority.
Double Engine Government Focused on Inclusive Growth
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh hailed the vision of the double engine government in Chhattisgarh, asserting that it is committed to uplifting all sections of society—especially villages, farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged. He noted that the current leadership is determined to bring about transformative change through focused development and inclusive governance.
With this public outreach and series of project launches, the state government continues to push forward its agenda of grassroots empowerment, rural infrastructure development, and people-centric governance.
