Narharpur: During his visit to Narharpur in Kanker district, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled a series of development projects aimed at uplifting tribal communities and strengthening infrastructure in the region. The occasion was the traditional tribal celebration Thakur Joharni, where Sai, along with former Jharkhand CM Arjun Munda, took part in local rituals and addressed the public.

Preserving Tribal Culture While Driving Progress

CM Sai began his address by paying homage to tribal deities and congratulating the people on Thakur Joharni and Nawakhai. He emphasized that tribal customs, values, and traditions must be preserved and celebrated, even as the state moves forward with its development agenda.

“Tribal unity and cultural pride are the soul of Chhattisgarh,” Sai said, urging the community to remain united and resilient.
