Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held a Janata Darshan in Lucknow, continuing his regular outreach to address citizens’ grievances directly. Over 50 people from different districts of Uttar Pradesh attended the public hearing to seek help on issues ranging from health and welfare to personal hardships.
Medical Aid Tops Grievance List
A significant number of requests during the session were related to financial assistance for medical treatment. Among the cases presented was that of a youth from Raebareli, whose father is battling serious health issues including kidney, heart, and urinary ailments. After listening to the plea, the Chief Minister immediately directed officials to ensure the patient’s admission to a government medical college and asked for an estimate of the total treatment cost.
CM Yogi assured the family that the state government would bear the entire cost of the patient’s treatment, emphasizing that no one in the state should be deprived of healthcare due to lack of money.
Eight Years of Medical Support for the Needy
Reaffirming his administration’s long-standing policy, the Chief Minister said,
“For the past eight years, our government has been providing financial assistance to needy patients, and we will continue this support without interruption.”
He further stated that patient welfare remains a top priority for the state government, and that no delay or negligence in handling such cases would be tolerated.
Personal Connection with the Public
The Janata Darshan was not just an administrative affair—it also had moments of personal warmth and compassion. CM Yogi was seen interacting with children who had accompanied their family members. In a gesture that brought smiles, he placed his hand affectionately on their heads and distributed chocolates, reflecting his approachable demeanor during the public event.
Citizen-Centric Governance in Focus
The event highlighted the UP government’s continued focus on direct engagement with the public. These regular Janata Darshan sessions have become a vital platform for real-time grievance redressal, offering citizens an opportunity to voice their concerns directly to the Chief Minister.
CM Yogi’s quick response and assurance of aid demonstrate his administration’s commitment to transparent, compassionate, and effective governance.
