Pratapgarh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Pratapgarh on Friday, where he launched a significant developmental push and addressed a large public gathering with strong remarks aimed at opposition parties. The visit began with his darshan and puja at the revered Belha Devi Temple, underscoring his commitment to the state’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
Following the temple visit, the Chief Minister participated in a public event held at the GIC ground, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 186 development projects worth ₹570 crore. These projects aim to boost infrastructure, public services, and overall regional development.
“No Compromise on Safety and Dignity,” Says CM Yogi
While addressing the public, CM Yogi stressed the importance of law and order in the state under the BJP government. He stated that Uttar Pradesh is now a state where sisters and daughters feel safe, and the administration ensures full protection of their dignity. In a stern warning, he added, “If anyone tries to harm the respect of our women, their punishment will be visible right at the next crossroads.”
The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has moved away from appeasement politics and is now focused on development, cultural pride, and governance rooted in satisfaction and progress.

Opposition Faces Fierce Criticism
CM Yogi took a direct dig at rival parties including the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and the Congress, accusing them of being involved in divisive and destructive politics. Referring to the Sambhal riots, he alleged that the opposition orchestrated targeted violence against Hindus. He further charged that these parties, through deliberate political conspiracies, weakened the state’s law and order for years.
Taking aim at national opposition leaders, CM Yogi criticized Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav for their use of inappropriate language against the Prime Minister. He accused them of spreading hate and engaging in caste- and religion-based politics, which he said the people of Uttar Pradesh have now rejected.

Uttar Pradesh Moving Toward Good Governance
Concluding his address, CM Yogi declared that Uttar Pradesh has entered a new era, where development, good governance, and cultural values take precedence over vote-bank politics. He urged citizens to remain alert and not fall prey to divisive ideologies that prioritize narrow interests over public welfare.
A Development-Focused Political Outreach
Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Pratapgarh was not just a show of developmental intent but also a carefully calibrated political outreach ahead of upcoming electoral campaigns. The launch of over ₹570 crore in projects reflects the government’s focus on infrastructure and public welfare, while the assertive political commentary reinforced the BJP’s stand on law, order, and nationalist governance.
