Ranchi/New Delhi: Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for its upcoming Solar and Wind Energy projects. The collaboration is aimed at accelerating MCL’s renewable energy portfolio while reinforcing its commitment to Net Zero and carbon neutrality goals.
Comprehensive PMC Support for Renewable Projects
Under the MoA, CMPDI will offer end-to-end consultancy services, including feasibility studies, preparation of bid documents, e-bidding support, technical evaluation, design review, execution supervision, and performance monitoring of renewable energy projects. This initiative is expected to streamline project execution and enhance efficiency in the renewable sector within Coal India subsidiaries.
Signing Ceremony and Leadership Participation
The MoA was formally signed by Mr. Sanjib Agrawal, GM/HoD (Solar & Renewable Energy), MCL, and Mr. Sudarshan Prasad, GM (E&M), CMPDI (HQ). The ceremony was attended by senior officials including Mr. G. Srinivas, RD (In-charge), RI-VII, CMPDI, and Mr. L. L. Reddy, HoD (E&M), RI-VII, alongside other executives from both organizations.
