Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Government of India enterprise and a Miniratna company, has announced recruitment for the post of Ship Design Assistant on a contract basis. The online application process is open to Indian citizens who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Candidates must possess a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education with at least 60% marks. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in Design at a Shipyard, Engineering Company, Government or Semi-Government Establishment, or a Commercial/Private Design Establishment is required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in ship design.
The last date to apply for the post is May 16, 2025.
Vacancy:
The initial contract tenure will be three years, which may be extended by an additional two years based on organizational needs and individual performance. Selected candidates may be posted at the CSL headquarters or any of its project sites and will be required to serve in any department or location, including onboard ships or work sites operated by CSL.
Salary/Stipend:
CSL reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies or to cancel the recruitment process entirely if necessary.
