Jammu – As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, NHPC’s Regional Office in Jammu organised a tree plantation drive in collaboration with the NISARG organization at Uttar Behni. The initiative, held on July 20, marked 50 years of NHPC’s service to the nation and reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to sustainability and ecological welfare.

The event was led by the Executive Director of NHPC RO, Jammu, and witnessed active participation from senior officers, employees, and their families. Together, they contributed to the plantation activity with enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of community and environmental responsibility that has become synonymous with NHPC’s work culture.
The plantation drive aimed to promote awareness about ecological balance while also enhancing green cover in the region. It served as a platform for employees and their families to engage directly in meaningful environmental action.
