Mohan will serve for four years at the Deputy Secretary level, while Karale’s appointment is for five years at the Director level.

Both officers were recommended for central deputation by the Department of Defence. Their tenures will begin from the dates they assume charge and will remain subject to further orders, as specified in the respective appointment orders.

Satyam Mohan Appointed DDA Commissioner (Housing) for Four Years

Satyam Mohan (IDES:2015) has been selected for appointment as Commissioner (Housing) in the Delhi Development Authority for a period of four years.

The appointment has been approved at the Deputy Secretary level under the Central Staffing Scheme. According to the DoPT order, the tenure will be four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Before his selection for the DDA assignment, Mohan was serving as Assistant Director General (Administration/Personnel Management) at the Directorate General of Defence Estates (DGDE) Headquarters in New Delhi.

His previous responsibilities also included serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Varanasi Cantonment Board under the Ministry of Defence. The role involved working within the cantonment administration framework, which functions under the defence estates establishment.

His appointment to the Housing portfolio in the DDA marks a move from defence estates administration to an important position in Delhi’s urban development authority.
