New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and NBCC (India) Limited have signed a Supplementary Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to extend NBCC’s role as Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the iconic Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka. The updated agreement expands NBCC’s responsibilities to include interim operations and maintenance (O&M), aiming to elevate visitor facilities, safety measures, and overall park management.
NBCC’s Expanded Role in Operations and Maintenance
Under the new MoU, NBCC will oversee the selection and integration of a specialized O&M agency for the park’s phased public opening. For the first two years after incorporation, NBCC will supervise operations, including a one-year defect liability period, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
This expanded role highlights the shared commitment of DDA and NBCC to provide a world-class urban green space that caters to residents and tourists while preserving the park’s long-term operational excellence.
