Deepak Rawat, Divisional Commissioner, Kumaon will hear people grievances every Saturday

He will listen to public issues every Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

The new Divisional Commissioner Kumaon, Deepak Rawat told that he will listen to the complaints of the public every Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in the camp office, Haldwani. He said that any person can come to him with his problems and complaints. IAS Deepak Rawat is counted among the IAS officers who are quick to solve the problems of the public. Earlier, he had done well in Nainital district.

The commissioner said that his priority is to take forward the big projects stalled in Kumaon. In which roads are mainly. Public services like ration card, electricity, water etc. to the people at the right time and solve their problems properly. He told that he himself will also inspect the departments dealing with public. He said that his first priority would be to increase tourism. He said that there is a huge demand for herbal products in the big metros. And we are not able to meet this demand. He said that people would be linked with herbal products to promote self-employment. And for this, all the CDOs of the district will be asked to work on priority basis.

Kumaon commissioner Deepak Rawat said that the biggest problem in Haldwani city is jam, and a concrete action plan will be prepared to deal with it. He said that when big malls were built in Haldwani, parking lots were made in those malls. But there are complaints that mall owners have opened shops on those parking lots. Due to which the parking of vehicles is now happening on the roads. He said that cognizance will be taken about this soon.
