The Passing Out Parade (POP) of the sixth batch of Agniveers is scheduled to be held at INS Chilka on August 8, 2025, marking the successful completion of 16 weeks of intensive and rigorous ab-initio training. The batch comprises over 2,000 Agniveers, including more than 300 women Agniveers, along with Senior Secondary Recruits and Naviks (General Duty).
The POP signifies a defining milestone in the lives of these young recruits as they embark on their professional journey with the Combat Ready, Credible, Cohesive and Future Ready Indian Navy.

Parade to Be Reviewed by Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar
The ceremonial event will be reviewed by Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Eastern Naval Command. The Commanding Officer of INS Chilka, Commodore B Deepak Aneel, will serve as the Conducting Officer for the occasion.
A special post-sunset ceremony will also be held in the presence of families of the Agniveers, along with eminent veterans and celebrated sports personalities, adding a sense of pride and festivity to the event.

Valedictory Function and Launch of ‘Ankur’ Magazine
As part of the POP celebrations, FOCINC East will also attend the valedictory function, where awards and trophies will be presented to meritorious trainees and the champion division. Additionally, a bilingual magazine titled ‘Ankur’, created by the trainees, will be unveiled during the function.
