Operation Sindoor Documentary Reveals Key Decisions Behind India’s Military Response

New Delhi: The NSA Ajit Doval Operation Sindoor statement has drawn significant attention after India’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval said that India’s generosity and tolerance should never be viewed as weakness. 

Speaking in a documentary on Operation Sindoor, Doval explained the strategy, decision-making process and military planning behind the operation. He also highlighted India’s capability to respond firmly to threats while maintaining a responsible and restrained approach to national security.

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval shared detailed insights into Operation Sindoor in an upcoming documentary series titled Declassified: Operation Sindoor.

According to Doval, the operation was designed to target terrorist infrastructure linked to attacks against India. He explained how strategic decisions were taken and implemented during the military campaign.

“India Is Tolerant, Not Weak”

During the interview, Doval delivered a strong message regarding India’s security policy. He said that India’s generosity, patience and tolerance should not be interpreted as weakness. According to him, India is capable of taking risks, responding decisively and carrying out effective countermeasures when national security is threatened. Doval emphasized that the world should clearly understand that India’s restraint comes from strength and responsibility, not from an inability to act.

What Was Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was launched as a military response following a major terrorist attack that took place on April 22, 2025.  Indian armed forces conducted precision strikes against terrorist infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), targeting facilities allegedly linked to terrorist activities. The operation later developed into a broader military confrontation between India and Pakistan that lasted for several weeks.

The 88-Day Military Campaign

According to information shared in the documentary, the military confrontation associated with Operation Sindoor continued for nearly 88 days. The documentary reportedly examines key military decisions, strategic planning and operational execution during this period. It also highlights the role played by India’s military and national security leadership in monitoring and directing the response.
