The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has recently mandated a reshuffle of seven bureaucrats at the additional commissioner rank. Among the transferees are four AGMUT cadre IAS officers and three officers from IRS, IOFS and IRAS. This bureaucratic shake-up follows up after the appointment of IAS Sachin Shinde (2008-batch AGMUT cadre officer) as an Additional Commissioner in MCD.
Who are the transferees?
Mr. Sachin Shinde, a 2008-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, last posted as Additional Commissioner in-charge of West Zone, Nazafgarh Zone & Narela Zone, has been allocated with Central Establishment Department including O&M, Vigilance, Corruption Complaint Cell, Advertisement, RP Cell/Parking, Corporation & Committees (C&C) and Election.
Mr. Jitender Yadav, a 2010-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, last posted as an Additional Commissioner in charge of South Zone, City Sadar Paharganj & Central Zone, has been allocated with the Engineering Department including E&M, Building (HQs), Electrical, Architecture Department and Nodal officer of Screening Committee, Town Planning & Nodal Officer (Monitoring Committee), Information Technology and Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and Community Services Department.
Dr. Tariq Thomas, a 2011-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, earlier posted as Additional Commissioner in-charge of Karol Bag Zone & Civil Lines, has been allocated with DEMS including establishment matters of DEMS and Industrial Relations, Nodal Officer (HQs) for L.G. Listening Post. CPGRAM, PGMS, Disaster Management, Mobile App 311 (Swachhta App), Green App & MS Office, Toll Tax, Horticulture, Hackney Carriage and Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar.
Ms. Nidhi Malik, a 2013-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, who was earlier posted as an Additional Commissioner (LAC) in charge of Keshavpuram & Rohini Zone, has been allocated with Education, Law and Land, Estate and Veterinary Services.
Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma, a 2004-batch IRS officer, last posted as an Additional Commissioner, has been allocated with CL&EC, Factory Licensing, Printing & Stationary and Language.
Mr. Pankaj Naresh Aggrawal, a 2007-batch IOFS officer, previously Additional Commissioner in-charge of Shahdara (South) &Shabdars (North) Zone, has been allocated with Hospital Administration, AYUSH, P&I, Headquarter and Public Health.
Mr. Veer Singh Yadav, a 2007-batch IRAS officer, last posted as Additional Commissioner, has been allocated the Department of Finance (CA- com-FA), Assessment & Collection and Labour Welfare.
