The launch event was attended by Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra and other officials. The inaugural ride covered iconic landmarks from India Gate to the Prime Minister Museum, offering a unique experience of Delhi’s heritage and modern infrastructure.

This initiative reflects Delhi government’s vision to combine sustainable urban transport, world-class tourism, and heritage conservation.

Modern Electric Bus for Heritage and Tourism

The 63-seater double-decker bus features a panoramic upper deck, advanced safety measures, and zero-emission electric technology. CM Gupta highlighted that the bus service will allow tourists to experience Delhi’s historic sites and modern developments, including India Mandapam, Yashobhoomi, the new Parliament building, Central Vista, and the Prime Minister Museum, in a single journey.

She stated, “This initiative aligns with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi’, promoting modern urban development while preserving Delhi’s historical and cultural heritage.” The bus also contributes to carbon emission reduction and green transportation goals.
