Police Commissioner of Delhi, Mr. Sanjay Arora, has ordered the reconstitution of the screening committee responsible for the posting of SHOs. According to the order of Mr. Arora, who is an IPS officer of 1988 batch and Tamil Nadu cadre, the new committee includes officers of Special CP rank. The committee will be chaired by Mr. Sunil Kumar Gautam, an IPS officer of 1989 batch & AGMUT cadre. He is currently serving as Special Police Commissioner, Training.
Besides him, the committee has four other members. They are Dependra Pathak of 1990 batch, Dr. Saagar Preet Hood of 1997 batch, Nuzhat Hussain of 1991 batch, and Satish Golcha of 1992 batch. All the officers are of AGMUT cadre.
Mr. Pathak is serving as Special CP, Law & Order Zone -1, while Dr. Hood is Special SP, L&O Zoe 2. Mr. Hussain is serving as Special CP, Vigilance and Mr. Golcha as Special CP, Intelligence.
