New Delhi: Union Minister Bhupender Yadav chaired a high-level meeting in Delhi to review air quality measures across Delhi-NCR. The meeting included officials from the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi Government, NCR states, and other concerned agencies.
Comprehensive Pollution Control Measures
The discussion focused on ongoing and planned steps to prevent and control air pollution. Key actions reviewed included the installation and monitoring of Online Continuous Emission Monitoring Stations (OCEMS), deployment of Air Pollution Control Devices, and the collection and disposal of waste under Integrated Management Plans.
Officials also evaluated the expansion of mechanised road sweeper networks to enhance urban cleanliness and reduce particulate matter in the air.

Greening Initiatives Under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
The meeting highlighted large-scale plantation drives across Delhi and NCR under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. These efforts aim to improve green cover and mitigate pollution, with a mission-mode approach to ensure widespread impact.
Union Minister Bhupender Yadav stressed that all measures will be implemented in partnership with stakeholders and citizens. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving air quality in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas.
