In a significant step towards engaging the global diaspora in its ambitious roadmap, the Uttar Pradesh government officially launched the logo for its visionary campaign “Developed UP 2047” in London on Monday. The initiative, aligned with the broader goal of a Developed India by 2047, aims to transform Uttar Pradesh into a leading state in infrastructure, economy, and quality of life.
The logo was unveiled by Mr. Ravindra Jaiswal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Stamps and Registration, at a special event held at The Curb Slow Hall in London. The event attracted prominent members of the Indian diaspora and UK dignitaries.

During the event, Mr. Jaiswal outlined the extensive developmental strides Uttar Pradesh has made over the past eight years under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath. He emphasized that the state is well on its path to becoming a key contributor to India’s growth story by 2047, which marks 100 years of Indian independence.
Mr. Jaiswal highlighted the state government’s commitment to transforming Uttar Pradesh through advancements in infrastructure, digital governance, industrial growth, education, healthcare, and sustainable rural development.
NRIs Show Strong Support, Offer Global Expansion for Campaign
The Uttar Pradesh diaspora community responded with enthusiasm, praising the campaign and expressing strong interest in contributing to its objectives. Dr. Ajay Singh, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Diaspora Forum (UK), announced that follow-up events are being planned in other UK cities including Cambridge and Swindon before the October 5 deadline for suggestions.
Mr. Pankaj Jaiswal, Global President of UPDF, revealed that the “Developed UP 2047” initiative is also expanding to other parts of the world. Events are scheduled in Dubai, Netherlands, the United States, and other countries to collect ideas and support from the global Uttar Pradesh diaspora.
