As per a circular issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), an eminent Indian Foreign Service officer of the 1992 batch, Dr. Neena Malhotra has been appointed as the next Indian ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden.
Dr. Malhotra is presently serving as an Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry of External Affairs. She previously served as the Indian Ambassador to Italy, the Republic of San Marino, and the United Nations Organizations in Rome.
