Engineers India Limited Reports 38% Surge in H1 FY2025-26 Profit, Secures All-Time High Rs 13,131 Crore Order Book

EIL’s Revenue Jumps 36.5% Amid Strong Consultancy and Turnkey Project Growth, Strengthening India’s Energy and Infrastructure Development

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a leading public sector engineering consultancy and turnkey solutions provider, has reported a strong financial performance for the second quarter and the first half of FY2025-26, reflecting operational efficiency and successful project execution.

Profit After Tax Jumps 38% in H1 FY2025-26

For the first half of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, EIL recorded a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 184.98 crore, marking a 38.15% year-on-year increase. Revenue from Operations grew 36.55% to Rs 1,757.55 crore, while segmental profit surged 42.66% to Rs 233.94 crore compared to the same period last year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs 243.34 crore, up 40.16% year-on-year, showcasing robust financial health.

Q2 FY2025-26 Shows Significant Quarterly Growth

In the second quarter, EIL continued its strong momentum with PBT of Rs 149.57 crore, up 59.52% quarter-on-quarter, and PAT of Rs 114.90 crore, representing a sharp 63.96% quarterly rise. Segment profitability for the quarter was 28% for consultancy services and 5% for turnkey operations, demonstrating high-value consulting and consistent execution across project types.

Strong Order Book Ensures Revenue Visibility

During H1 FY2025-26, EIL secured new orders worth Rs 3,764 crore, including Rs 1,999 crore from consultancy assignments and Rs 1,765 crore from turnkey projects. With a total order book reaching an all-time high of Rs 13,131 crore, the company is well-positioned for sustained revenue growth and robust project execution in the coming periods.
